Checked the outdoor temp after we landed. Not sure I should deplane into these conditions.

Is the temp sensor for the 737-800 over something hot?

Well, I'd be worried about the resulting density altitude of 7800

Either that or the sensor is damaged. Unless you flew over an active volcano.
