I've been around cameras and seen your posts too long. Harley + shot = camera.

So, are you going into the air mail business and does the 35mph speed limit apply if the wheels are not touching the ground?

Was expecting bird shot?

Nice airmail box. A couple around here are used for pigeon racers.

I can't count the times I've traveled that road that goes to/from West Bath, just off the old U.S. Route1; and I only saw it early this evening. Usually, when I'm coming from a friend's home in W. Bath I turn off that road to enter (choice of North or South) on the divided highway U.S. Route1 which was built decades ago. But this evening I had the need to use the old route, so came to passing the mail boxes; and turned around to go back and do another 180 to get a "shot." The reason for the 35 MPH traffic sign out in the country is the railroad tracks and somewhat of an industrial complex in the vicinity. Ain't that a hoot! And the mail box flag is UP.

I love the Air Mail box. So clever. If I didn't live downtown in a building, I'd get one for myself.

An e-mail response came from from another flyer out of Wiscasset who wrote:

"Yeah, I see he's got a new and much higher pole.
Haven't been down that road for awhile.
Think that is Rick Farnham's parent's house.
Don't think they ever involved with aviation.
He did it as a joke from what I understand.

Still impressive

Camille"

There's one of those near me (Rt 140 in Boylston, MA). Five feet above the Air Mail box is another box marked "Tax Bills"
