Well, with 47 posts and 493 views it appears around 90% of us are doing the right thing and not posting in an effort to KEEP THIS THREAD SHORT. That is noticed and appreciated.

It's always the 10% though that screw it up for everyone...

Ah! , but that is where statistics lie. 500 views, mostly from the same people who did post. ;)

Statistically speaking.

Sorry to be the bearer of sad news, but I have 7 threads with 0 replies. But is a thread shorter with more or fewer views? (83 is the fewest, 1248 the most)

wouldn't the number of characters in the post itself, the signature, etc, be part of the measure?
 
Interesting. I'd sorta assumed it was post count, but you have a point. Maybe we should try to keep the posts short too. Try to refrain from long winded posts that drone on and on and on, so to speak.

Almost three months and not a single post. I'd say you guys (and gals) have the idea! Good work on keeping this SHORT.

It's really quite simple. I am trying to have a super short thread. One where nobody posts. So either don't post on it or at a minimum, post ideas on how to keep it short. See my peeves thread? Over 10,000 views. I don't want anything like that here. Just post your idea on how to shorten it and let it go...
 
I'm sure you can have a moderator pair it down for you if you want.

But, there goes another gratuitous posting thread.
