We just rolled out our next two renovated rooms...

For you Piper Cub fans: http://ameliaslanding.com/piper_cub_room.htm

For fans of the barnstorming era: http://ameliaslanding.com/barnstormers_room.htm

All of our rooms are aviation themed, but these two are all-new....everything. From the tile floor to the towel bars.

Right now it's "remodeling season" on the island, so we've got the next two rooms gutted. We hope to have the Floatplane Room and Constellation Room renovated by Spring Break.

Congrats, Jay and Mary (or is it, "Mary and Jay"?).

Doin' it right!

Jay check this, please

Also, $72/night sounds very reasonable to me, downright affordable even.

Thanks for the booking! I hope you can make it down here that weekend!

Ironically, you can't get the EAA or AOPA discount when you book on line -- but you booked with the AAA discount, instead, which is the same, so it's all good. :D

For the rest of you, however, in order to receive our special "pilots discount" (and information about our courtesy cars, etc.) you need to call us when you make your reservation! It's toll free, 888-671-8088.

Jay, that looks really nice. I have to get down there sometime.

Looking very nice! How many more rooms to go? What theme is next?

I have been there, and it was very nice - and this was "pre-Ameliazation," so you can bet it's multiples better, now.

Plus, best hosts in all Inndom.

All the themes are done. See them here: http://ameliaslanding.com/the_rooms.htm

All rooms are aviation themed and open for business, except for the three we are gutting right now. We have completely gutted 7 of the 23 rooms. Over the next several years we will gut all the rooms, two at a time, essentially making the hotel brand new from the inside out.

As predicted at the time of your (premature-but-much-appreciated) visit, you wouldn't even recognize the rooms now.
