They're probably a 135 air-taxi service, like some of the Cirrus-based groups, or DayJet was. And the airplanes are under 12,500 lbs so they don't get caught by that TSA program.

I think I will take them up on their deal for $29 and get a PC-12 ride.

They're flying from HRO to Memphis daily. I sure hope this helps revitalize our airport here at HRO. Things have been pretty grim... And now with Branson (BBG), it's harder to get clearances out of Harrison. But hopefully these guys will do well.

If you follow the FMI link, they are operating part 135. My bet is that you don't have to deal with the TSA for this flight but if you are using it to connect to another airline... you will have to deal with the TSA when you get to the hub.

They are going into an FBO in Memphis instead of the main terminal. You get met and greeted by TSA to get to your connecting flight.

The first time somebody hijacks a 135 op, all this freedom goes bye bye. Do they have to report the names of their ticketed passengers in advance to the TSA, like 121 ops or Part 91 GA going out of country?

It's been done before. I remember this one.

AUTOPSIES ON BOTH OCCUPANTS INCLUDED FINDINGS OF MASSIVE TRAUMATIC INJURIES SUSTAINED DURING A STRUGGLE. THE PASSENGER REPORTEDLY PLANNED TO TAKE HIS LIFE BY JUMPING OUT OF AN AIRPLANE OVER THE MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO BECAUSE HE BELIEVED HE HAD AN INOPERABLE BRAIN TUMOR.
