Next spring break I'll be visiting University of Washington/seattle on a college tour. While im in Seattle would it be possible for me to get my seaplane rating quickly, over the course of 2 or 3 days? Whats involved with getting that add on? I'll be PPL Instrument rated by the time I get there.
 
I would think it wouldn't be a problem if you find the right school. There should be plenty to choose from.

All it takes is money.
 
5 hours plus a 1+ check ride. Under $1000 total cost here in Michigan.
 
So whats involved in those 5 hours? is it like complex where its just takeoffs and landings?

Kenmore Air is just up the Lake from the University....

Pretty much, there is also taxiing on and off the step and docking as well as securing. There is also learning to service the floats. It's mostly "difference training as planes all fly the same.

Sumping them, I'm guessing.

My 5 hours included:
sumping the floats
taxiing at idle
taxiing at high speed (on the step)
high speed taxiing turns(yes you actually use ailerons to help in the turn)
sailing (engine off, and letting the wind do the work for you)
docking from downwind
docking from upwind
docking straight in
docking backwards
beaching
use of water rudders
glassy water takeoffs
glassy water landings
rippled water takeoffs
rippled water landings
rough water takeoffs
rough water landings
picking lakes to land on, and not to land on
a maneuver or two in the air

I think that's pretty much it.
 
I have flown with Kenmore Air and found their aircraft were very nice
And instructors were good. Lot's of seaplane experience there.

Pumping the water out. You thought they were watertight? ;)

(Seriously.)

But we should have told you that you have to climb in the water every day and scrub the barnacles off the bottom because they cause too much drag, and seen how long you believed it. ;(
