I have a Macbook Pro. Safari has started freezing and shutting down frequently. What should I check?

I had a small stint of that once. I removed all plugins and deleted all the cached stuff and it started behaving again. Kinda the nuclear option since I wasn't discriminate about what I deleted.

I switched to Firefox.

Recently tried Google Chrome again - not quite sold on it yet.

sorry - that's kind of like saying "swap out engines" in response to "sometimes she's a bit hard to start" ... :D

I use the issued version of Safari, on my iMac, 10.7.2 Lion operating system and it works great no problems so far except when I reset safari and it drops all my log in cookies.

Da !

Did that. I'll see if it works. I've been trying to figure out what has been causing it, but now have opted for the nuclear option also. Thanks.
