On the www.Backcountrypilot.org board we were having a thread about Owyhee Reservoir State airport. I was looking through my old videos and I found a tape I took when I took Sadie for a ride to the Owyhee. We had been planning this flight for a long time but first Sadie got sick and so we put it off for a long time. Finally On May 7th 1998 we took this trip. If you have not been to the Owyhee strip this will give you an idea why I love to go down and sit on the front porch. Enjoy. Bob

There was very long running Limerick thread on the Red board in which numerous posts appeared featuring the lascivious exploits of a lass named Sadie in and around various aircraft with various pilots. I hope your Sadie's ears weren't burning.
 
As always Bob your videos bring me to a happy place. I wish I had the finances to come out and explore some of those awesome back country strips, Land and Set a spell as they say. :yes:

Well I had to wait until I was 46 to start my lessons. I guess that is why I can't get flying out of my system yet. I am trying to catch up on time lost. I really can't afford a 182 and the money it takes to maintain and fly it but, I manage somehow. Bob :dunno:

Yes, I thought about that when I was posting this thread. I was in on some of those limericks on that long long thread on the Red board. But this Sadie was a real Lady. She owned a ladies dress shop for years in my little town. Sadie passed away a couple years after this flight. Bob
