Sad for the fact that a Cesena Caravan is most likely totaled. Happy no one was injured. Went to the airport to set up the hangar I just moved into and found all sorts of support crew removing the Caravan. Weather was not the best gusting 30kts+. I have no Idea on what happened. Runway was closed to part 121 until 1pm or so.

Glad no one as hurt… the rest of that will buff right out…

Looks kinda like maybe couldn't get outta ground effect
I know they carry a lot of packages to the out lying communities. With only 5 passenger's I can't see them being overweight.

Good thing it happened in Juneau instead of Skagway. Usually in Skagway the normal take off direction is towards water with little to no space available for running off the runway.

I reckon you’d have to be at about 15,000 pounds to not get a garrett caravan off the runway in Juneau.

While reading the above linked article, another popped up, posted a few hours ago. A "kit-built plane designed to look like a Piper Super Cub PA-18 150" crashed on Saturday, 10/23, near Willow, which is north of Anchorage. The pilot was transported to a hospital in Anchorage by HEMS and is in critical condition. The passenger was transported by ambulance and is in serious condition.

The crash happened around 6 PM local time, which is close to sunset in late October. The plane was apparently landing, but no other details were provided.
