I removed my fixed pitch metal prop on my RV6 for an engine overhaul.
After removal, I realized that the prop spacer is not firmly ‘bonded’ due to time/corrosion to the spinner’s bulkhead and the prop is also firmly attach to the same spinner bulkhead. (The bulkhead has a part number of S-602-1.)
I know it’s due to the clamp up over time, that these components are stuck together.
I’m hoping to hear some suggestions to whether leave it alone or try to separate these parts.
