Rotax 912 UL overhaul

I am looking for members who have done the TBO overhaul of their Rotax 912.
Is it worth or it is better to buy a new engine?

I looked into it. Apparently there’s a pretty good market for used run out Rotax 912s. Sell the engine and buy a new one. It seems an overhaul (when I priced it last year) was around 15k and a new engine was 19k). If I remember correctly.

Switching to a 912s is difficult as it requires modifications to the fuel system design.

If it's at 2000 hours just don't bother it's will be like new inside. Run it for another 2000 hours at least.
