What is Root List? I am being bombarded by e-mails for which the subject is Root List. They come 10 or 12(or more) at a clip and bear the sender's name identical to one of our members -- though I suspect that is only a coincidence! I keep deleting them as fast as they come.

Any other suggestions?

Oh, I've put the sender on a Blocked List; the above was only to advise and/or question the activity.

Not sure what the email is asking for specifically but I imagine that what they would like is administrator rights to your computer. Unless you have a Corporate IT department regulating your corporate owned computer there is no need for this request to be granted as it is only leading to some nefarious use of your computing equipment.

I didn't open any of them, so I'm not aware of the message content. I looked at Properties and , being suspicious, I deleted them as they came for fear of virus or malware. It would appear the "Block" is working, thus far.

If you haven't done so already, maybe send a PM to the POA member whose name is identical to the sender's name...just in case they have malware on their machine. I know I would want to know if I were sending out something bad...

- - - - already did that; and when he responded -- and I could see his e-mail address -- it was seemingly apparent the identical names were coincidental.
