Review of Home Study Curriculum endorsement?

Just want to confirm. I signed off my student for his Private Pilot Airplane written and gave him the A82 endorsement (review of home study curriculum, prepared for knowledge test etc). This endorsement is enough for the test, correct? It doesn’t need to be supplemental to A32?

He used Sporty’s but didn’t print off their premade endorsement, so I just signed him off myself.

Yup, that's what I did. Same with Gold Seal for IR.

No doubt. Besides, as the CFI, am I really reviewing their home study curriculum or just relying on the student saying they took a course and met the course standard for graduation?

(I’m not sure I’ve seen any student actually do a “home study curriculum” anyway. An online course is an approved ground school.)
