I'm going to the Reno Air Races for the first time and would love suggestions on "must do" and "must not do."
Especially photo tips and food suggestions. Staying at the Western Village Inn & Casino At The Marina in Sparks.

Any BBQs or GA pilot events?

Anyone else going to be there and want to meet up?

Also, I have tickets to offer:
two Pit Pass wristbands - Monday and Tuesday - Free

two Box Seats, two wristbands, and one Parking for Sunday, the main race day -
Box A83, sitting with GA pilots and race enthusiasts. Parking Lot #9
Great seats with Pit Passes and Parking!
Face Value for just Reserved Grandstand with no parking or pit pass is $45 each.

Edited 9/7 - I want to make sure someone can use these great tickets and passes, so dropping price to asking $45 each for this package of two ($90 total).

Really looking forward to this event!

You'll have a good time any way you do it. Lots to see, don't get stuck at one end of the flight line.

Get a pit pass so you can see the planes being worked on between races! I spent more time in the pits than in the stands when I attended years ago.

I might be going...I need to figure out some logistics I will probably know later in the week for sure.

Find Kimberly on here.
I friended her on facebook. Turns out she is friends with my CFI (on fb anyway). She is all about the races. I bet she can give you some pointers.

Just lowered the ticket prices.
I hope someone will be able to grab these and enjoy a fantastic event!
