This has been around at least 40 years....I grew up in a house on a hill down to a pond. We would put on the skates and do this on the way down to the pond to play hockey. A lot of fun.

It's not a "problem" at all. If something doesn't appeal to me I don't watch it. If somebody else likes it, well there's no accounting for taste.Sounds like your problem, not theirs...
