A friend of mine just sent me some beautiful pics of a F-15/F-22/P-51 heritage flight over Langley. I thought some of you might be interested in a few. Here's some of my favorites.

Beautful!! It's hard for me to believe the F-15 is outdated technology now, better suited as a bomber than as the world's premier air superiority fighter! Time flies.

Dynamite photos. A friend gave me a couple Lockheed Martin 2005 clendars. The 11 x 14 photos include F-16 Fighting Falcon, C-27J Spartan, the Morphing UAV, C-130J Super Hercules, F/A-22 Raptor, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, P-3 Orion, U-2S Dragon Lady, F-117 Nighthawk, F-2 Fighter(four, in formation), C-5 Galaxy, T-50 Golden Eagle; and every one of them is worthy of framing when the calendar is passe.

Those are some very nice photos. Q: why'd they put the slowest bird on the outside?

Very nice pix. Thank your friend for us.

I will!

Here's a few more. The P-51 is not in these, but I think the one with the sky behind the two fighters is great. Wish it had the 51 in it as well.

Did Ken Ibold take those pics?????

Don't I wish! I have a bunch of similar shots, tho, on a disc given to me by Stallion 51. I'll have to find it and upload some...
