Psychosis

Once diagnosed with Psychosis 20 years ago with one psychiatric hospitalization. No medications for 10 years or incidents ever since. Is getting a 3rd class medical out of the question? Am I better off sticking with sport pilot?

This will depend on the reason for the psychosis. If they psychosis was "organic" then as Eldorado pointed out, you'd have to try and prove it was an incorrect diagnosis. If, however, the psychosis was secondary to another medical condition, you just have to show that the medical condition that caused it is no longer an issue.
