Proof that cats are smarter than dogs

thats pretty good. I wonder what their water bill is like.

This is the email text that came with the video. I have no idea if it is true. Internet being what it is I would guess not but here it is anyway.

Jennifer and Jim kept getting huge water bills. They knew beyond a doubt that the bills weren't representative of their actual usage. But no matter how they tried to conserve, the high bills continued.

Although they could see nothing wrong, they had everything checked for leaks or problems: first the water meter, then outdoor pipes, indoor pipes, underground pipes, faucets, toilets, washer, ice maker, etc. --all to no avail.

One day Jim was sick and stayed home in bed, but kept hearing water running downstairs. He finally tore himself from his sick bed to investigate, and stumbled onto the cause of such high water bills. Apparently this was happening all day long when they were not at home. Knowing that few would believe him, he taped a segment of the 'problem' for posterity.

I didn't play the wmv (dial-up), but a clip of a cat flushing the toilet has appeared on AFV several times.

let's take him over to Anthony's house when he isn't looking!

I'm only kidding Elizabeth. I had a cat for 18 years. Having to put her down was one of the hardest things I had to do.

Other than my time in the barracks, I have always had at least one cat. The one I have now is past 16 and is probably the best pet I have ever seen. We got her when she was a 4 inch cube of gray fluff. She has always been low maintenance, healthy with no bad or inappropriate habits. Good natured and easy going. She considers her day wasted if she doesn't get a few minutes of lap time.

I don't know how I am going to take it when she goes.

What is it about cats and toilets. Every time I go in there my cat
runs up between my legs and hangs his head over the edge to
watch. I'm having a heck of a time finding something to get the
yellow stain off the top of his head.

;-)

that's the smartest lab I've ever seen. if it were a golden I'd think it was faked.

Having had a number of Goldens over the years, I believe you are entirely correct. Sweet, but they hide when the brains are being passed out.

I don't get it! The cat has obviously been messing with the potty for months and you're saying he's smarter than the dog?

The dog was too smart to mess around with the potty and just get a drink, he's in the kitchen trying to get food out of the cabinets!!

Best,

Dave
