Private Pilot kidnapping in Florida?

thats awful... but why would the FBI talk to the media about it at all? shouldnt the FBI's involvement be secret?
 
"He runs his family's aircraft maintenance business." Either it's an unusually profitable maintenance business, or the kidnappers have no idea how little money there is in such an industry.

Yeah i think the kidnappers are barking up the wrong tree on this one, I hope he returns safely.
