Does anyone have a good picture of a Q-tip propeller? There isnt any close ups that I've found on google.

I was also wondering if anyone had/knew of a website with a good explanation of vortex generators. I need to be able to explain its purpose relatively quickly to my commercial ground class.

Did you try the McCauley and Hartzell websites themselves? I'd think there might be pictures there...

I tried Hartzell, they didnt have any big pictures that I saw. I'll look at McCauley although I didnt know they made Q tips.

Yea those are the types I keep finding. I need a close up because you can't even tell they're bent. At least a closer side view or something.

Yea I found that one too, I'm curious how you could make it bigger without ruining the picture because it would probably work.

You guys do realize that theres no money in customizing Q tips like that. They have to be perfect 90 degrees and no chips, I'd work on the method a little.

im sure there is a particular power setting/angle of arrival combination that would bend them over perfectly...
