My search skills are failing me. I know there is a thread around here about your favorite podcasts. I can't find it. Anyone able to help?

That thread is so old as to be worthless - In fact, all of the shows on it have pretty much podfaded. :(

Here's a quick list of the current aviation podcasts off the top of my head (sorry if I missed anyone!):

* Airspeed (my favorite - Steve is blessed with an amazingly creative brain!)
* The Finer Points
* Pilot's Flight PodLog
* Uncontrolled Airspace
* Student Pilot Cast
* Airplane Geeks
* Plane Crazy Down Under
* Pilot's Journey

I don't listen to all of them... The top 4 on the list are the best and most regular, and I can't say enough good things about Airspeed.

The Pilotcast, unfortunately, has not had a new episode in a long time - People have been bugging me to start a new show, and I will be on the "air" again soon. Whether that's on a rejuvenated Pilotcast or on a to-be-named new feed is up to Mike. For those who are interested, you can follow me on twitter (@flyingcheezhead) and I'll provide updates there.

Mike, I'm afraid it's time to turn the reigns over to someone who has both the time and talent to devote to the Pilotcast network. You have the latter, but apparently not the former anymore. :( Personally, I fully understand, but your audience is requesting more than you can provide right now! (I, OTOH, do not have the time or especially the talent!)

I want to publicly and loudly THANK YOU for all you've produced, in both the PilotCast and the CFICast.

Kent, would you be interested in having me as a co-host, or at least occasional co-host, on the new show?

Mike:

If you are reading this, I'll add my vote as one who'd love to see Pilotcast live on, and believe me, I know what it is like to be so busy you can't see straight. Make Kent carry the load for a while! If you let him, I bet he will.

---

And Kent, if you have a thought of doing it, give PJ a try- he's the real deal, and I bet his ties with the 1940 Air Terminal museum will lead to some outstanding guests and programs.

---

Finally, I have a great guest for you, someone I know you'll enjoy... if I can persuade him to come on (and I bet I can).

Now all you need is...

.... a Podcast!

I'll throw my voice in here as well that I hope Mike can turn over the name and domain to Kent so that the show can live on. It's still one of the top results in iTunes when you search for "general aviation" and that would be a huge boost to a new podcast. We understand if you don't have the time...just turn it over to somebody that does.
