We were third on the list this week. Several PoA people were in the photo.

PoA people in the photo were Kim (and her Birddog), Dean and Kelly Davis, Marc and Shari Popejoy, Malcolm, Bruce and Sue Chien, Wayne and Rebecca Pierce, Tony Condon, Mike Newman, and Tom in his Big Macs. Did I leave anyone out?

Speaking of Tom's overalls...one of his students is an orthopedic surgeon, Dan. Dan's daughter saw a photo of Tom in Dan's solo photo and for Christmas gave her father some overalls and a ball cap just like Tom's. So, Dan wore his overalls and ball cap to his last flight lesson with Tom. How funny!

It really was, wasn't it. It's the people who joined us at the farm that made it like heaven.

The balloon pilot is the same guy who got hit by a tornado in 2008 and lost several buildings and had his airplane tossed into a tree. I posted photos of that somewhere here when it happened.

From what I hear, it's not a compliment - it's a stone cold fact.

Yes, it was. You couldn't really tell by looking at it in the tree, though. He bought another TriPacer last year and is enjoying flying that one.
