I don't understand.the attached photo shows speeds for certain maneuvers.
this plane will not fly as fast as any of the listed speeds.
So no steep turns?
Sure it will, as a diving entry speed, those are maximum speeds to enter those maneuvers.
Okay that makes sense. It didn't specify.
Thanks
You'd be suprised how many people taxi with strobes(( that bottom caveat is dumb. Does anyone actually read that? Kinda a lot of common sense ))
Like me?You'd be suprised how many people taxi with strobes

No person may:
(b) Operate an aircraft that is equipped with an anticollision light system, unless it has lighted anticollision lights.
Like me?
My anticollision light goes on before I start, and off after I shut down.
I don't turn on the strobes unless I'm on the runway. either taking off, landing, or crossing. When I'm taxiing, they are off.Like me?

How would it be in the interest of safety to be driving around with no anti-collision light on?You left off a sentence in that regulation.

No person may:
(b) Operate an aircraft that is equipped with an anticollision light system, unless it has lighted anticollision lights. However, the anticollision lights need not be lighted when the pilot-in-command determines that, because of operating conditions, it would be in the interest of safety to turn the lights off.
I got scolded one night by another pilot sitting on the ground waiting to take off while I was on final for having my landing light on.
Yep, my dad works for Delta and he says don't use strobes unless you are on the runway. I also make it a habit to turn on every light when I'm crossing a runway. At the regional airline I fly for, we only use wing strobes during taxi if we cross a runway. I use the same practice for the aircraft that I own. The reason being if I see wing strobes on the ground while I'm on final I assume they're taking off or landing or crossing the runway. It's also distracting when you're doing a runup at night and a plane pulls into the block next to you with their strobes on which ruins night vision when the lights are going into your plane. No need for them on the ground.
When I start up at night I have my beacon and nav lights on. Strobes don't go on until I'm on a runway. No need to blind pilots with the strobes. And me. If night flying, I would use good common sense.
