Pittsburgh plane spotting.

Headed to pittsburgh (pa) to visit family. Saw alot of people sit at moon park to watch planes take off/land. I guess itd depend on the wind direction. Is it busy enough to make it a special stop? Is there a better spot?

One used to be able to park along the side of Clinton Road and watch planes depart 28R. That was a long time ago and PIT is now a former shell of itself. Back in the Allegheny Airlines / USAir days PIT was a busy busy place.

I wouldn't bother. The place is almost a ghost town. You might see one plane every 20 minutes.
