I sort of laugh at the FAA going to give you a call...

I think it's even funny that he was upset. What did I do? Would anyone think that slamming a door would set off an ELT? I wouldn't. I didn't do anything wrong and I don't care if someone in the FAA thinks I did. What are they going to do about it? Nothing. And that's exactly what I would have told him had he called. I think she told him it might not be a good idea to call me!
