I have some scratches on inside my pilots side window just above the window access door. It is an area about the size of a quarter and it looks like someone scratched it up with a screw driver or something. I would like to remove them before I install my new Kool Vent nearby. They will definitely require light sanding. From what I see online is that the window is arcylic plactic and the scratches can be removed by the following steps:

Sand with 600 grit wet sand paper
Sand with 1200 grit wet sand paper
Rub with car rubbing compound
Rub with metal polish

I may also use a dremel polishing wheel in the last steps.

Anybody try removing scrathes like this? I'm thinking they can be removed with a little elboy grease. :)

Get some scrap window acrylic and try the process out first.. go to a plastic supplier, and ask how they remove scratches... test the waters before actually jumping in with both feet. replacing a side window because the scratched area became worse would not be fun.

Your use of a dermel tool will burn the plastic, best use a slower buff.
