It's the newest bin Laden family endeavor that may raise some eyebrows, though. Yeslam bin Laden, Osama's half-brother, has just come out with a new luxury watch for pilots called the "Aviator." Yes, there is now a bin Laden watch aimed at pilots. I can just see the tagline now: "I don't know about you, but nothing makes me feel safer than a bin Laden in the cockpit."

Welcome back to our "Seriously?" radar, bin Laden family.

The watch itself is actually pretty interesting -- it tells the exact airspeed the pilot is traveling and estimates the flight duration in case the plane's instruments fail. And, superficially, it looks pretty cool too.

A TIME PIECE FOR AND BY PILOTS.
Design and functionality are combined with reliability and accuracy in The Aviator. Both proffesional (sic) pilots and connoisseurs of refined watches alike, will appreciate the comfort of its usefulness and sporty appearance.
The ability to read True Air Speed, without complicated calculations, on the bezel of this time piece, combined with the delicate engravings and the ingenuity of its various mechanisms, give The Aviator an originality that leaves nothing to be desired even for the most demanding experts.
Not sure what they mean by the ability to read True Air Speed, since it doesn't seem to have any sort of a GPS or air data computer built in, though for the price it probably should. Seems to be just a limited E6B in the bezel, built in just like the Casio and other aviation watches.

And their site (http://www.yeslam.ch/) is SO slow, loading 65 individual flash images to see the watch collection.

Not that I'm a fan of any of them but Osama would probably kill his brother in a heartbeat b/c he lives like an infidel.

Think how ****ed his family is that this guy destroyed their family name.

Wristwatch?

Hasn't the obit for that device been written yet?

Think TSA would let you through with one of those on? :dunno::rofl:

They let through a guy with a buch of T-shirts all saying some pretty provocative things. The TSA maroons can't read, you think they can recognize a brand of watch? I would only think so if it was one they wanted.

BTW, there are guys in Gitmo merely for wearing the Casio watch that bomb makers like to use. They were changed with having bomb making material.

Have a few total electrical failures that leave you with a whiskey compass and sectional chart and you'll think differently.
