Took my neighbor's son on his first small plane ride to Sky Manor, NJ via a Hudson/NYC detour. Conditions were excellent for photos. Blog post with photos.

Great photos... Got my first airplane ride at skymanor (as my ID implies at 9 years old) while my dad was competing in an R/C competition there. Later (alot later) we had our Skyhawk based at N51 (Solberg) just east of N40.
Since my dad quit flying, Owning is beyond my finances, so I'm using club airplanes... But, hey, I'm fly'n... My dad and I were one of the first cars over the Verrazzano when it opened and an old army air corp colonel (at the time a CAP officer) took me for a ride under the bridge in his Champ. Crazy man! I was 13 years old and it was loooong before the class B's (then TCAs)

Pre-takeoff checklist
Nice pictures. I've done the same flight when visiting a friend out of 47N. Up the Hudson, around the Lady then on to Sky Manor for a hamburger.
