We will be leaving OKH on the morning of the 3rd of Aug, traveling east to Glacier Park, then South to Yellowstone, and the Teton park, then via Cody to the Black hills and south to I-80, and east to Cedar Rapids and south to I-70 east into the DC area.

I will be taking the Computer and will stay in contact as much as we can thru Wifi hot spots.

We'll be home around late Oct. after the fall colors in the Northeast. route to be determined at a later date.

Stay safe and fly right.

see ya when we can.

We're flying in to KWYS on 8/8 and back out on 8/12.

When are you going to be there? (or are you going in to Gardiner?) Are you taking the Fairchild? If we overlap can I check out your plane?

If you pass through Lincoln on I-80 and want to grab dinner or something let me know: seven six three - two two nine -9341.

Tom, I hope you have a wonderful trip.

If you make it to southwest Missouri, stop on by and visit. :)

But as G/ma D has it planed, she will be hugging the grand kids in Baltimore by the 21st.

Bummer your bird is down. We'll be camping and hiking in the NW half of the park. We'll give you a ring when we get there. Maybe we can grab dinner together.

If you are hiking are you back packing and camping in a tent?

we will leave the house on Friday, but we won't leave the state until Sunday the first, it will take a day to get to Glacier (the 2nd) and a couple days there, (5th) and a day or so the reach west Yellowstone. puts us in the window for a dinner with you.

don't alter your vacation for us, If we meet great, if not, it's not life threatening, :)

enjoy your time in the park.

We're planning to camp in the campgrounds at Madison Junction, Mammoth, and Canyon. So, we'll only be doing day hikes.

There's a few of us in Lincoln- maybe get together?

Sounds good to me, you got a fav watering hole?

edit,,,,,,

with a parking lot I can park a 40' M/H

or a Walmart where we can circle the wagons

We do have a Wal Mart perhaps ~1 mile south of I-80 in a longish strip mall. I often see motorhomes and trucks parked there. Google Maps has the exit called out as Nebraska exit 403.

Yup. That Walmart works fine for parking big stuff. Exit 403, turn south into town, and the walmart will be about two miles on your left.
