OSH - Where y'at?!

I have a couple of chapter members that are in a suite at the University. As far as I know they have an empty bed. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll connect you.

My wife and I will be at the Blue Barn tomorrow PM. Stop by and say hi.

I'm looking for a ride back to FDK or MD. Anyone with an extra seat.... I'm interested. My group is leaving a day early tomorrow. I'd really like to stay longer. text me. At three zero 1 471 twenty five forty nine.

I'm open to riding home in the back of a pickup if need be. :eek:
 
The Venture flies around 3:06 we are second out behind the Sub Sonex. Going to be one slow pass down the runway and back in.
 
Do you think they can actually tell that my PA32 is a 1975? If she could pass for a 1971 we're in!

But really, we're launching tomorrow at 0500 and hoping for space in GAC. But if the Fondue Lake is the best we can do than we'll live through it.
 
Just met and talked supercross with Stevo1Kenivo....and yesterday met Tucker gott the powered parachute dude.

Now watching afternoon airshow.

We may leave tomorrow now due to weather. Yuck
 
And I think I have fallen in love with a Velocity! How do composites fair in time?

I'll be in the homebuilt camping shelter enjoying a cold one if anyone wants to stop by. Wearing a red shirt that says Questair on the back and a black hat.
 
Oh my God. I've seriously been missing out on this for the last 37 years?!!!! There are planes EVERYWHERE. Up, down, to each side. I can't even.... I will be here every year for the rest of my life. This is heaven.

Hope to see some of you at the HOPS party tomorrow. If I don't die of over-aviation-stimulation first.

ROFLMAO. That was my first year, too. Then @flyingcheesehead made me stay on the field until after midnight and I really got it.

There's really nothing like it.

Welcome to Oshkosh. NOW do you see why we say that you cannot truly convey just how huge this is, to someone that has never been here?

LOL. I always chuckle at these, too. By the time someone walks a mile to where you're at, you're off gawking at something else. Always happens.

The only way meetups work at OSH is with about four hour's notice you text someone and say "Meet you at X at 15:00". :)

And even then you'll be lucky to make it there if you run into four other friends on the way. :)
 
All this talk makes me so jealous I'm not there!

Had my vacation over this week and was going to fly my 182 up, but got a new job and the training schedule unfortunately didn't coincide with my Oshkosh plans! Next year it is!

Yep, I got a text saying "lets meet up today" but each time checked they were elsewhere...ended up running into other folks that we had no idea were coming though, so that was cool.

I seriously had NO idea. I mean people told me and I saw pics, but I truly had NO idea.

Just loaded up on coffee at the C2A tent and heading to the nearest bacon depot, the North 40 Cafe. If anyone else is there, say hi. Maroon tank.

Hahaha yesterday I thought I'd stop by the FAA safety center to meet @Brad Z. I opened the door to walk in and bam a big forum going on. I felt like I walked right up front. I closed the door and backed out. Haha maybe later. Only person I've said hello to so far was @Jay Honeck.
