Orlando (KMCO) near miss between 757 and 172

I just listened to the second video - the 172 pilot was indeed given a heading of 090 and 2000'.
I think that the tower controller will be in trouble if he isn't already. I also think that the
situational awareness of the 172 pilot(s) was excellent!

I guess that the moral of this story is that controllers are human - they make mistakes.
But where was the supervisor? I've seen supervisors step in before to stop things like
this from happening - that system isn't perfect either.
