Anyone used the Oratex system of covering?

I've done some research on it and it seems to have good reviews. Supposedly lighter than the more traditional options when complete by roughly 30%, easier install, and a long life. At least those are the claims I've seen from some of the experimental owners that have reviewed it.

Yep. Great stuff. Expensive but the cost is offset by not needing respirator, paint booth, hvlp sprayer, etc.
I covered my elevator in my kitchen. Try that with a legacy system.

I’m an observer. On my current Cub I looked at lots of fabric jobs on working planes that park mostly outside. The winner for durability and lasting appearance was Stits with Aerothane, and that’s what I used. I have friends with Oratex and am fairly familiar with it. If you’re okay with how it looks? Roll the dice, see how it lasts. I can’t find any 20 year-old Oratex jobs to look at. I dismissed it because I don’t care for the looks, and I can spot Oratex from a long way away. To each their own.

I used it for my first ever covering job and would use it again. There is still a lot of painting that needs to be done. Much covering can be done solo but some parts need a team.
