I remember seeing that advertised. Honestly, it doesn't seem like that terrible of an idea for someone who basically lives in his or car. That said, I'd prefer finding a Starbucks.

I guess you haven't driven in this country lately have you?

What's next? A thick solid white pull down full windshield width projection monitor for the computer or tv? I'm game for whatever they want to use however it's time the powers that be allow the rest of us to start shooting back in self defense.

I suppose we shouldn't allow airplanes either because people can fly them into buildings? :rolleyes:

Blaming a device for stupidity is just as stupid as the act itself. If you're the sort of person who does a lot of driving and has 30 minutes here and there to sit in the car and work on eMails, etc. (no, not while driving down the highway), then that could potentially be useful. Would I buy it? No, but I also wouldn't say it should be banned. By that logic, we have a tremendous number of devices that should be banned, many of which we like. Your motorcycle should be banned - people ride those without helmets and kill themselves, you know.
 
What's funny is how many presumed it would be used WHILE driving... as Ted says, it's intended to be used while stopped (eating lunch, working on a paper, etc.).
