So I got stuck in Philadelphia yesterday - No load until today. If I was just anybody, well, that would suck.

Luckily, I have such good friends all over the country! I called up Adam Zucker, and he in turn called several others, of whom Bob Ciotti and Andrew Morrison were able to make it. I parked the truck at Wings Field.

We watched airplanes, drank beer, looked at airplanes, ate pizza, and talked about airplanes until darn near midnight. :blueplane: :goofy: Thanks for the good time, guys! :yes:
 
Any excuse for a beer and conversation about flying!:cheers::blueplane:

We even got to see Kent's home-away-from-home. Very cool.

Hardly! You got bumped for a District Attorney with an offer on a case ;)

It however was a good time. Kents right it is cool to have folks all over. It was a good time, good friends etc. We even got to chat with one of the local cops who rolled in around 11:00PM to see what was up with Kent's truck ( got a call ala airport watch) turns out he was a rotorhead pilot so we got chatting with him for a while as well. Even got to show Kent the Sky Arrow that Kate's student bought.
 
Fine, Kent and Kate fly down to do dinner with me at 1C5, and he doesn't even mention it. Meet up with ADAM, OTOH... :D:goofy:

(BTW Kate, I verified with the airport manager that he's been trying to correct those erroneous entries in the AF/D for a few YEARS now!:hairraise:)
 
Ha Ha he is actually still here. His load won't be ready till sunday so his truck is still parked at Wings.

So today I went to Hortman Aviation at PNE and got checked out in a Tiger. That was pretty cool. They also had a Tobago, I hadn't seen one of those in person since about 2002. It looks like the back seat should be nice and big and comfy, it's certainly wide.

Yeah, you can tell you're out there and not back here! We have 700' ceilings and icing pireps at 3000'!
