It's .22LR, wouldn't be that much.
Let's set the rate of fire at 600 rpm (about right for an M-60 MG, so this ought to be at least as fast). Last time I bought .22LR, a 500 round brick was about $8.50 (that was a LONG time ago). So, let's say it's now $10.00. That's $10/minute or $600/hr. Thanks, I'll stick with the C-182.
The Federal cheap .22LR is $235 for 5000rd case. So, $28 for 600rd.
