Probably whatever ATIS information is current would be good.

I, however, plan on not talking to tower at all for my arrival. :D

How about LNS Tower Archer N1234 10 north with information what ever inbound full stop.

In otherwords they are not going to care if you are with NE flyers or the Ministry of Silly Patterns as long as your landing at LNS. When you go to point 1 just tell them you want the west ramp.
 
Ok, just figured they might like to know for gound handeling purposes. Likely LNS will have only one controller for both.

OH NO that inhales so much. All this organization you did and you might have to come on 4 wheels. Tell them to get a movin. On the other hand I have some left over Krylon we used to paint the mail box so I can pop down there and give it a few coats if ya like Bronze.:D
 
The co-pilot walked in the door this eve not feeling well. Temp is spiked a little,
she's coughing and not feeling great. At least it's not H1N1!!
I may have to bail but let's see what the next few days bring...

11-12-09 Update: Co-pilot is feeling worse and the WX for the North East on Saturday ain't pretty! I am bailing out.. Have fun and catch ya next time!

I usually don't rule most things out until launch time.
 
Question: If it's IFR, but still doable IFR, is it going to be canceled or just limited to those who want to file to get there? That will affect my plans.
 
If it's IFR I will not be able to attend unless I can get a ride... hint hint.

I guess it all depends what the group wants to do. We can cancel, move it to Sunday or let those who can make it in IFR have at it. I'll drive either day since my plane is not ready for me to pick up.

Well, given my schedule, Saturday is the only day that would work for me, so that's my preference. Looking at the MOS forecasts it looks like lunchtime or so will be MVFR or so. So hence my question.
 
Ditto Ted -- I've already got commitments for Sunday, but I can always use some actual IFR time, icing should not be a factor below 12,000, and there shouldn't be any convective activity.
 
I'm committed on Sunday, and Sat is looking "iffy" now thanks to car issues. We'll see in the AM.
 
May I suggest we just plan on Saturday, and whoever shows up, shows up? Whoever doesn't, doesn't.

I have a tremdacious head cold and just learned I need to be in Fairmont, WV Saturday for a proposal edit/review session.

Thanks for the offer, but Rob and I will be taking his two girls with us so the ladies can have a day shopping. It will be a four wheel adventure for us and a lengthy session at the pilot shop. Who knows, we may make a stop at OQN and anywhere else we can think of.
