I have a hangar toad who shows up every Spring. Actually, it doesn't matter much, since most frog species are disappearing worldwide.

Duh; somebody shoulda "toad" that guy he was some kind of crazy guy to call da pohlice, ya know??? Nope, not particularly fond of Frogs, myself.
I was working around my perennials one day and suddenly appeared was a monster from the denizens of the surrounding trees. I grabbed my camera and managed to get off one shot.
A couple weeks later I had taken to the landfill a load of mulched leaves/pine needles and junk trees/mini oaks. After unloading the truck, while sweeping the body what should hop from one corner of the body but --------. And that load had been in the truck for several days. I brought it back to its regular home.
Oh, the 2nd photo? That's my original shot; the "monster" was only about 3/4" long.
