Pre-takeoff checklist
... or at least a Neo-Pagan.....
(note: this post isn't meant to offend anyone, my apologies if it does)
In an interesting discussion of differences in religions this evening, I naively entered "what religion should I be?" on Google.
The first link took me to http://www.beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Quizzes/BeliefOMatic.aspx
The 'Belief-O-Matic' personality quiz is 20 questions designed to determine which religion most closely matches your beliefs; religions are ranked in percentage order. I wasn't sure if this was purely entertainment or not, but decided to give it a try.
Grant and I were both very surprised to learn my results:
1. Neo-Pagan (100%) 2. Reform Judaism (90%) 3. Hinduism (86%) 4. Unitarian Universalism (83%) 5. Sikhism (82%) 6. Mahayana Buddhism (82%) 7. Jainism (78%) 8. Liberal Quakers (77%) 9. New Age (73%) 10. Orthodox Judaism (70%) 11. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (66%) 12. New Thought (64%) 13. Theravada Buddhism (63%) 14. Baha'i Faith (58%) 15. Scientology (55%) 16. Islam (50%) 17. Orthodox Quaker (46%) 18. Secular Humanism (46%) 19. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (41%) 20. Taoism (37%) 21. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (35%) 22. Jehovah's Witness (31%) 23. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (31%) 24. Eastern Orthodox (29%) 25. Roman Catholic (29%) 26. Seventh Day Adventist (28%) 27. Nontheist (22%)
Curious to see how other POAers fare if you're willing to share results...
Sharon: hope this doesn't dissuade you and Greg from rooming with us at Gatson's
