News flash! Aviation first in Kitty Hawk!

And it does not involve a guy named Orville or Wilber. Last week my dear wife took a short 20 minute flight with me from ONX down the coast a bit. She said that she would fly with me after I got my instrument rating and she was true to her word. Other than it being hotter than Hades in the plane everything went well. She had to close her eyes when I banked right to turn back to the airport but other than that she did great. I made the most careful powered approach to a landing that I have ever done and used my soft field technique to cushion the landing. She enjoyed herself and said that she would do it again. Do I dare dream of never having to drive on the New Jersey Turnpike again to visit the in-laws??
