That's an otherwise nice looking Cub. It's going to be tricky, whatever they do.

I get "low and slow" but man, that's REALLY low. Did he have an engine out? Minnesota is pretty flat, the only thing to hit are man made poles.

It's flat, but there still appears to be a number of trees .

Same thing happened in Seattle with a C-150 years ago. The pilot was rescued and some years later killed himself in another aircraft.

That's an otherwise nice looking Cub. It's going to be tricky, whatever they do.

Heard that bucket trucks were used to finally recover the PA-12. No pics that I could find, no reports of damage. That pilot was supremely lucky, plus he even gets his plane back, a little worse for wear.
