Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself on this forum. I currently live and work in NJ. Had quite a ride in the last few years which included working as a design engineer for about 5 years out of college, part time CFII'ing during that same timeline with over 1600 hrs of dual given, and flying a Hawker full time for around 9 month before getting screwed by the company....somehow I ended up working for a big financial institution as a PM working on implementation of large IT projects. I am also back to part time instructing (around 30-40 hrs a month) in Northern NJ.... didn't quite like the "living out of the suitcase" lifestyle, hated the hotels, being away from home, waiting for PAX, missing events with family and friends, being screwed by scheduling, and not being able to schedule anything in life more than 2 weeks ahead.......flying a jet was cool though; the views were great, takeoffs and landings too......enroute part was boring...that's about it, all AP :)

The company I am currently working for is looking to buy a light jet or a TBM in the next year or so and I am very close with the CEO; who knows, I may end up flying up in the flight levels again once or twice a week for them. My other option will be to perhaps buy a plane I can use to travel on my own terms. I'm looking forward to being an active member here :)

Welcome to the zoo. Don't feed the animals! ;)

welcome, sounds like you know what you enjoy. Hope thinks work out for you. That would be sweet if you get to fly in the flight levels once again. Take care

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Haha, where's the exit from the zoo? been searching for it for the last 12 years :D
