Cool. I'd be all over it if it also included AHRS (did I missed that?).

How does this interface with Foreflight? I thought Foreflight was limited to the Stratus units.

Seems to be a popular project for a number of pilots. I think AHRS works, but could use some improvements, from what I gather, although I've never tried the software myself. http://www.pilotsofamerica.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85058&highlight=build

We didn't include AHRS in this version because both the code and the selected hardware are in flux. Also because a recent ForeFlight update disabled support for the Stratux AHRS features.

The system (both FlightBox and the Stratux software) is upgradable and we're working on a daughterboard that would connect to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO interface and provide AHRS, and potentially other features. When it's released I plan to offer it with a new top for the case. Just remove the old top, add the daughterboard, and install the new top.
