New iPhone Phablet

I found an image comparing the dimensions of the new iPhone and iPhablet to existing models.

I'm curious how well the 6L would serve in the GA world like the current crop of Mini Pads have doe so far.

Thoughts?

I don't think I'd be happy with anything smaller than the current iPad Mini

The HTC One Max is 6 inches. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be 5.9 inches. I am going with the Samsung in the cockpit for music, a backup to my Garmin 796 touch GPS/WAAS. I get weather for free via ADS-B.

I like the I pad air,for the cockpit. And I'm keeping my I phone 5.

Depends on if foreflight gets the iphone feature set or the ipad feature set when running on the new device.

Sept. 9 is a planned Apple Event, almost certainly to include the iPhone 6 in whatever configuration it turns out to be. Probably will be streamed via the Apple site.
