Hey guys. I need a one way ride on Saturday 12/19 to pick up my Tiger from its annual inspection. I am flexible on time, but mid to late morning would be great. I need to go from Pottstown Muni, N47 to Deck, 9D4 in Lebanon/Myerstown, PA. Its a short flight, maybe 15 minutes.

Send me a PM or respond here if you can do it. I will pay for Hobbs time.

THANKS!

Hey, that stuff worked great on the Mooney! The hard part was crawling out on the wings in cruise to apply it...

Yes, the Tiger is Known Ice capable. Essentially an all weather interceptor.

Gary. I'll give you a call later today. Thanks!

Bill. I'm glad you remember the old plumbers heat tape thread. Brings back memories!

All kidding aside, I don't believe anyone considered the original F11F Tiger an "all-weather" interceptor. Armament was strictly visual-range (guns and Sidewinders) and AFAIK, there was no intercept radar. As for the AA/AG-5B, well, I think we all know it's hardly "all-weather."
