That's pretty dang pricey. Make sure of what they provide and there are no hooks like their additional books required when you get there.
I have a student who went to American Flyer's course. He didn't need to but wanted an excuse to get out of town for a few days. The course was $295 and they required you to buy their book for another $80. Considering how much the FAA books cover for much less cost, I thought that pretty excessive.
Another issues I came across... they had the student take the written knowledge test which was part of the overall fee. But, they never had an "authorized instructor" endorse the log book for the knowledge test. Make sure this is done.
