Need a .NET developer 6mo contract for an Aircraft Manufacturer

Are you sure you wouldn't prefer a C# developer instead? :D

Seriously, though, I'm out, I'm nowhere near you. But if y'all change your mind and want remote developers with PM experience, let me know.

Don't really care what syntax you know. Any .NET developer should be able to figure out syntax differences between the various flavors of .NET in under a day.

I have a line a mile long for offsite. This would be onsite only. Having PM experience would be disqualifier :D

Hahaha! That's great. From now on I'll add that one to our job postings :)

Be sure to add Scrum Master on there too. I'm looking for someone who can put their fingers to a keyboard and pump out some code. I'd do it myself but I just don't have the time.... I've actually been told I can't do it.

:yes:Count me in if the job can be remote!

So, my PMP would not be good then.

No, we're actually looking to have the project wrapped up and completed successfully in six months. Not end in 2 years due to a budget overrun.

I'm not a very good developer but I'm really expensive so...
When do I start?

Just put some phrases like "Drive value into the business", "Look through the business lens", "ebb and flow", "proactive not reactive" in your resume and I can probably get you in the door by Monday.:rofl:

I work smarter not harder, remove silos, open lines of communication, scrum, rally, and hit the ground running.

How long I get for lunch,I had a 3 week vacation already scheduled, and do you monitor web surfing activity?

Just so you know, they're not "silos" we don't have those, we have "delivery units" and you need to be able to "build relationships with the business"

And yeah, we monitor web surfing. But, I can introduce you to Paul, the monitoring guy. We also issue cell phones with tethering that aren't monitored. And, being an aircraft manufacturer, POA isn't blocked. At least for now. If Henning keeps on, that might change.

Since Bryan (with a Y) joined the fray, this is quickly becoming my favorite thread....

Are you allowed to "have relations" within the business?

There's a girl in finance that doesn't seem to mind. And there's plenty of lunch break hotel options at the airport.
