Flat ground. Let's see it pull the plane or equivalent mass up a mountain pass.

There use to be a charity airliner pull at COS on occasion. A bunch of guys got out there with a rope and pulled a MD80 across the ramp. They said getting it moving was the hard part then it was rather easy after that.

well frank the way i figure is that if it can overcome static friction on a 747 it can probably handle my trailer with a 400 lb glider in it on almost any terrain i'll ever encounter

Did you notice how much ballast they had to add to the car so it wouldn't just sit there and spin the tires? Nice stunt.

The TDi Tourag is a very sweet machine. 75K I think for a loaded one. 535ft.lbs. torque and 28 mpg on the highway. A friend says that it makes that silly Porsche suv look like a toy.
