Radio Shack is out of stock, and a class at the middle school needs some for their upcoming project. They either need the kind that can snap in half like that, or they need some that are the equivalent size, originally.

They show in stock in all the stores in Fort Worth...do you have to buy them online? You are in the Radio Shack capital of the world up there..they HAVE to have them. :D

Odds are you can get them even cheaper at the Radio Shack outlet over near Meacham off Blue Mound road too, if you don't mind open packages.

Oh! I forgot about that outlet store... that's REALLY close for us and might work.
 
Thanks, Spike! I'll pass that on to the teacher as well. He teaches a really cool course called "Gateway to Technology". They do everything in there...

Troy you might also have the teacher call the corporate headquarters for Radio Shack and talk to someone with the Teacher Awards program. They are very big on helping teachers teach technology topics to students. They give out thousands every year to teachers who go above and beyond to introduce students to technology careers. He might be able to get them to donate any of the electronic supplies he needs.

+200! I'll pass it along and hope he does call them! Their budget is so tight (read that as "football gets all the funds, technology gets zero") that he has to solicit donations from the parents to cover costs of things like these boards. ;-) Hope RS "Teacher Awards" can help him out.
 
Yup, Fry's would probably have them, or something similar. Lots of good suggestions here, I've passed them onto the teacher. He really liked Lisa's idea of the Teacher Awards program at RS.
 
...plus, at Fry's, you get to experience new scents and, perhaps, new species...
 
Well a month ago i just trashed over 3,000 Perf Boards 3" x 3" and smaller + thousands of small parts SMT & Through Hole (resisters, capacitors, resonators, etc.) I may still have some boxes of parts in the attic if I dig them out one day I could donate to the school!
