Bought this for my grandson. No he is not 8 but thought it was cool.
Well if you can find an 8 year old that can put this together in under 24 hours, send him to college right away.
You need a degree in engineering to get this thing together! Took my 17yo and I four hours, then another hour of "tweaking" to get it to run properly.

Merry Christmas everyone

Heh, I remember the days of k'nex. Lot easier to build massive structures than with legos. I once (when I was 10) put together the Power Tower Crane in about 6 hours by myself.

Merry Christmas!

That's awesome Mark. I'm sure he'll love it!

Similar story: One day, in New Hampshire, I bought one of those universal weight lifting machines, and had to put it together. It took me close to 24 hours straight before I could get it working. Cabling sucks. When I was done, I didn't even want to try the machine out, I just went to sleep and ignored the machine for about 2 weeks. LOL.

Well he did LOVE it.
But now have to teach him about how a roller COASTER, won't "coast" backwards.
He likes to see them go the "other" way. LOL
