My Youngest Goes Flying with Me

Nice video! Looks like she had a great time.

On the other hand, I see you have an RV-8! Maybe you can direct me where to get a ride in one of these machines. I am ordering a tail section soon and hope to get going on my build. I would love to see what I was getting myself into. I would gladly pay for fuel and such.

Keep those kids flying. I love taking my kids up.

That is a very well put together video!! Is the airplane named after the kiddo or vice versa? :bravo:

What great video. She looked thrilled. What does the number that is above the elevator designate?

You fly a B-36?

Did she even realize she was in an airplane?

:D

I may be wrong, but pretty sure in no way shape or form could the B-36 be considered to "Hustle"... :D It was called the Peacemaker. The name "Hustler" was given to a delta winged supersonic medium bomber with a crew of 3.... the B-58

Oh yeah, thanks. I'll edit.

Jeanie,
That is the serial # of the kit 82614. RV 8 kit - 2614th one to leave the factory.

Ear to ear smile...nice!

My daughter (5 yrs old) thought all the cars on the roads were bugs. She fell asleep after about 40 minutes and was snoring into the mic. I had to reach back and move it away from her face.

I can't wait until she's a bit older to put her up front with me (C172).

Child sedation via hypoxia. Good one to keep in mind to control unruly pax. :wink2:

Did you see her straining to see out and just for a moment, she thought about unlatching the restraining shoulder straps. Dad, get her a cushion or booster seat!

This vid should be a model for all others. Perfectly composed and edited, proper length to tell the story and maintain viewer's attention to the end.

She didn't look the least bit contrary to me.

What a wonderful smile.
